Heidelberg Upright Stander Benni to (re)gain postural stability
Postural stability is the ability to control the body position in space. Toddlers usually learn how to stabilise their body during movements and how to maintain the position of their body when they move, act or react. They are able to control these movements on their own, automatically and precisely as long as they live.
Children suffering from certain neurological illnesses are unable to maintain their equilibrium under dynamic and static conditions. The Heidelberg Upright Stander Benni helps children
The adjustable centre column helps you raise the dynamic you want to include in the standing training. It enables children to move sideward, backward and forward. Children experience how gravity affects their own movements. However, you may even fix the centre column for static standing. As soon as you apply the dynamic of the centre column, the standing frame Benni encourages children to be active in an upright position and train their balance. Standing in the Heidelberg Upright Stander Benni, children focus on their body and their movements which slowly helps them (re)gain postural stability.

We use Benni every day. The upright stander fosters the cognitive and physical development of our son. The dynamic centre column improves his sense of balance.
We use Benni everyday at nursery school. The standing frame is very stable and the dynamic centre column allows for dynamic standing.
My daughter is so proud when she stands upright with her Benni next to her brothers at the small table and is able to play some games with them. Nothing is worth more than these moments. She loves her upright stander.
